Sister Concern : Satkirti Filters took over the business from KMPI, Kulkarni Powder Metallurgical Industries in 2009. KMPI was in the field since 1981 and today it captures he market and enjoys over 80% share in the Sintered Filter’s market. KMPI has been able to establish itself at the most sought after position in then filed because of the support of its Proprietor and CEO, Mr. Satish Kulkarni. Studied from the reputed College of Engineering, Pune (COEP), he holds wide expertise and experience of 35 years in the field of powder metallurgy and most of it is in area of filtration. KMPI has been able to establish itself as a trusted vendor of many public sector engineering companies like Indian Railways, BHEL, GTRE, NTPC, BOC, etc. by offering Filtration Systems which can withstand temperature over 650 degree Celsius and pressure over 400 bar. Sakriti Filters was established by Mr. Ashish Kulkarni, the son of Mr. Satish Kulkarni. The company focuses mainly on the filtration business. Following the footprints of his father, he also passed out from the same prestigious college and further received MS degree in Environmental engineering from University of Central Florida, USA.
